Directions to Splashy Fen
Travelling from Durban or Johannesburg along the N3, take the R617 turnoff (Exit 99: Southern Drakensberg/Underberg). Continue along the R617, through Bulwer, to Underberg. Go through Underberg, remaining on the R617 (to Swartberg) for 5km. Cross the Umzimkulu River bridge and immediately turn right into Bushmansnek Road. Travel 12km on the dirt road and then turn right at the D600. After about 0.5km, turn left into Splashy Fen Farm Road.

Please drive carefully especially at night and on the 12km of dirt road.
