Rainbow Village In light of their much talked-about success, the Rainbow Village and revamped Crafts Market -; which premiered at Splashy Fen 2004 - will this coming Easter Weekend no doubt provide complementary healers and creators of quality handicrafts with welcome access to public recognition...and rands.

Client turnover and sales opportunities at these two attractions are bound to soar, as festival organisers are confident that the word-of-mouth publicity generated by Splashy 04 will help them achieve a target attendance figure of 10 000. In addition to yet another crowd-pulling musical line-up for the coming festival, Adventure Sports and Cultural Activities are also contributing greatly to the snowball effect.

The result of this fresh approach is that complementary therapists and creators of authentic, original handicrafts cannot afford to miss Splashy Fen 2005.

Co-ordinator Di Sanders promises an "even bigger, better and brighter" Crafts Market for Splashy 05, and hopes that the upcoming lifestyle celebration will attract yet more "hands-on handicraft folk, who give form to their vision on-site...giving festival-goers the added bonus of watching the creative process". Items for sale must be "genuinely indigenous and ethnic-based...not cheap, mass-produced trinkets from overseas".

Regarding the Rainbow Village, Di Sanders intends maintaining the momentum established by Splashy 04, and to "build on the Rainbow Village';s overall success." All accepted complementary therapies - from Reflexology and schools of massage to Reiki, Body Alignment Technique, EMF Balancing and so forth - will be welcome at Splashy Fen 2005. In addition, suitably experienced Astrologers, practitioners of Numerology and similarly 'gentle' forms of fortune-telling should also enquire about available stalls.

"An army marches on its stomach" is an old saying which applies equally to the festival-goers who annually invade Splashy Fen. Considering this captive market, the festival's Food Stalls are also potential money-spinners. Quality control requirements for providing this service are necessarily high.
