Coastal Music (Durban) has kindly donated an Ibanez (GRX) Electric Guitar and an Ibanez (TA25) Guitar amplifier to the value of R4000.00.  On Sunday afternoon one lucky very talented lead guitarist will pick up the guitar and amplifier, load it into his/her car for their trip home on Monday.

How to enter:

• You have to be at Splashy Fen 2004
• There are three heats - check the programme for times
• Arrive early to put your name down in the Carling Black Label Marquee
• 2 Guitarists per heat  will go through to the finals
• Finals will be on Sunday afternoon
• You cannot be signed to a Record Label or be a professional musician
• You cannot use your own guitar or amplifier
• You will be required to walk on the stage pick up the guitar and play, there is no rehearsal time
• You will need to do a solo of not more than 2 minutes (heats) and 3 minutes (finals)
• Coastal Music and Splashy Fen will be the judges

Once again Coastal Music will be at Splashy Fen this year providing a service backstage for the musicians. Pay them a visit at their marquee to see the latest range of musical instruments etc.
